Rams bring in defenders from two rivals- and they make an instant impact

Ramsgate yesterday introduced their supporters to two new defensive signings, as Aaron Simpson and Harrison Post both made their debuts in victory at East Grinstead Town- the Rams first league win since October 26th.

Harrison Post arrived from Sittingbourne-although we believe he may still be on loan from Margate. He first came to our attention when he signed for Margate after coming through the Dover Athletic Academy, and he made a handful of appearances for the Blues before heading to Sittingbourne on loan- but he spent most of his Brickies time on the bench, too. He went straight into the Rams side and played the entire ninety minutes.

Aaron Simpson is a former Gillingham midfielder who signed for Hythe Town in the summer, making eighteen appearances. He previously made eleven appearances whilst on loan at Margate from the Gills in 2017-18. He also played for the entire ninety minutes yesterday.
