Ryman Round-up Show

Burgess Hill Town's general manager and goalkeeping coach John Rattle took time out on Thursday night from his regular duties at the Ryman South leaders to help shake up the debate on the latest Ryman Round-up Show.

Rattle, pictured, was at Sussex County League side Crowborough Athletic before becoming a key figure at the Hillians soon after joining. With the club in danger of going down at the end of the 2011-12 season, he took over as caretaker manager for the last seven games of campaign and won his last two games at the helm to avoid the drop.

The Ryman Round-up Show's host David Square and co-presenter Keith McMahon, Thamesmead Town's former manager, were also joined on the latest two and a half hour phone-in show for the league's fans, players and officials by two regular guests, Dan Wilson, the Non-League expert behind hit Twitter account @essexfootie and Echo sports reporter Luke Lambert.

Corinthian Casuals were also named on Thursday night's show as the latest winners of the Non-League Review's Team of the Week, Matt Howard side's polling nearly 60 per cent of the vote in the weekly competition for last Saturday's 3-2 win at fifth-placed Whyteleafe.

The Ryman Round-up Show was launched last season by community station Hawks Radio to debate the action and news among the Isthmian League's three divisions and 72 clubs from 7pm to 9.30pm every Thursday night throughout the season.

New presenter McMahon stood down at Bayliss Avenue after 11 years at the helm in January and took to the airwaves for the first time at the start of February.
