Sammie McLeod is a new arrival at Bognor Regis Town

Bognor Regis Town have today announced the signing of Sammie McLeod, a midfielder who arrives from National League South side- and local rivals- Worthing. Sammie may get to make a debut against Horsham on Boxing Day.

Sammie played youth football for Maidstone United before stepping up to the Academy at Leicester City. After leaving the Foxes he was a big success at Maldon & Tiptree, with eight goals in thirty one appearances during the 2018-19 campaign, before being snapped up by Colchester United.

A spell at Concord Rangers followed, as well as some time in Ireland, and then last season he returned to our notice when making a handful of appearances for Lewes in February/March of this year. He then spent time in Iceland with Þór Akureyri, before signing on at the Mackerel Men in the summer.
