Rocks march on- in style!

Bognor met Cray for the third time this season, and just like the other two, there were four goals- but this time, Bognor scored all of them!

Prior to last night, Cray Wanderers and Bognor Regis Town had been brilliant at cancelling each other out. Two meetings, one in the league and another in the FA Cup, had produced eight goals- four each, as they had drawn two-two on both occasions.

Last night's cup replay, however, was entirely one sided. The Rocks who won our Pitching In Performance of the Month Award for their six-one thrashing of Aveley a few weeks ago were on show once more, and their hosts didn't know what had hit them, succumbing to a four-nil defeat in front of their own supporters.

Isaac Olaniyan got things underway with the opening goal on twenty seven minutes, dribbling into the box and passing the ball home- and seven minutes later it got worse for the home side, as Nick Dembele converted a cross from Josh McCormack- who was later awarded Man of the Match by Rocks Radio.

Shortly after the break Nathan Odokonyero, a thorn in Wands side in the previous two matches, added his fourth goal in their three meetings, curling the ball home from outside the box- and ten minutes later it got even worse for the hosts, as Mitch Chapman saw red. The final goal came four minutes from time, and it went to Tom Chalaye, forcing a cross from Brad Lethbridge home at the back post.

The Rocks will welcome Hampton & Richmond Borough in the next round.
