Rocks release episode two

By David Watters

East Thurrock United

The second episode of the new fly-on-the-wall documentary series following East Thurrock United's Premier Division campaign has been released.

Film-maker Spencer Carmichael-Brown has been following the Rocks since the middle of August after being granted exclusive access to the dressing room at Rookery Hill by manager John Coventry.

Following the online success of episode one, Carmichael-Brown went behind-the-scenes over an eventful Bank Holiday weekend when the Rocks played two games in 48 hours, at home to local rivals Grays Athletic and away to Carshalton Athletic.

The film-maker has produced a number of other sporting films and documentaries, most notably another season-long documentary series about Spanish club Real Oviedo which was posted on his blog site 'What Spencer Does'. His efforts even helped the club's fundraising efforts with a significant number of fans electing voluntarily to support a pay-for-view subscription.
