Forward Alfie Rogers returns to Whitehawk

Whitehawk have announced the return to the club of forward Alfie Rogers, who has been busy scoring goals as if they were going out of fashion along the coast at SCFL side Newhaven.

Alfie was a youth player at Lewes before first moving to Whitehawk, and was a youth and first teamer for the Hawks before moving away. He has since played for Burgess Hill Town and Horsham, spent some time in the USA on a scholarship, and also spent a little time at Saltdean United. He has so far notched fifty seven goals for Haven in a season and a half, so it's no surprise to see him back at our level.

He was part of the Newhaven side which lost narrowly to Lancing in the relegation play off at the end of last season, and led the Haven line alongside Lee Robinson, the brother of former Whitehawk (and Billericay Town) legend Jake.
