Roman Campbell hopes to be the answer to Maldon's goalscoring woes

Bottom of the Pitching In Isthmian North, Maldon & Tiptree have managed to score only six goals this season- but they'll hope that they've gone some way to solving that problem with the signing of striker Roman Campbell from Tilbury. Roman managed thirteen goals for the Dockers last season, and has added two more in five matches this season.

Roman was previously with Faversham Town, Ramsgate and Folkestone Invicta, and prior to that played for Sittingbourne, Enfield Town and Cheshunt- all whilst on loan from League One side Gillingham. He eventually joined the Brickies permanently after his release from the Gills, and had managed five goals in twelve matches before moving to Folkestone.
