Rowland's Return

Aveley appoint former Wingate and Finchley boss

Aveley have announced the appointment of former Wingate & Finchley manager Keith Rowland to the Parkside hotseat, where he replaces Danny Dafter, who departed a week ago.

Rowland was the most successful manager in Wingate & Finchley's history, taking the side to the Premier Division playoffs in 2017, but he is no stranger to the Millers, as he was a coach at Field Mill at the end of the last decade. He is, of course, best known for his successful playing career at West Ham United, Bournemouth and Queens Park Rangers.

He is joined in the Parkside dugout by Assistant Joe Keith, another former Hammer with a great deal of Isthmian experience, most recently as boss at Tilbury.
