Ryman's giant-killers march on!

By David Watters

Congratulations to Bognor Regis Town on reaching the last eight of the FA Trophy from all at the Ryman League!

Thanks to their latest giant-killing - a 2-1 third round replay win over Sutton United at Nyewood Lane on Tuesday night - the Ryman Premier's Rocks are looking forward to facing either Torquay United or Macclesfield Town in the quarter-finals after the National League sides drew 3-3 on Tuesday night.

Jamie Howell's side battled to a 0-0 draw at Gander Green Lane on Saturday to progress and bank another £7,000 in prize money. Before beating the National League South outfit and former Ryman Premier champions, the Rocks had already knocked out Altrincham, Maidstone United, Bath City, Taunton Town and East Grinstead Town.

The FA Trophy's fourth round ties are due to be played on Saturday 27 February with winning sides collecting £8,000 in prize money and a place in the two legged semi-finals of Non-League's showpiece competition.
