Saints make an appointment

It's a week and a half since Chalfont St Peter parted company with former boss Finlay Johnson, and their manager search hasn't strayed too far from home, as last night they appointed Johnson's Assistant, Aaron Steadman, as their new manager.

Aaron, who also manages Berks & Bucks County FA Under 18's, joined the Saints in July last year. He was previously first team coach at Bracknell Town and at Ascot United, and was a successful youth coach at Maidenhead United prior to that.

His first match will be the trip to Hanwell Town next Saturday.
