Scholar new at Stow

Pitching In Isthmian North side Walthamstow yesterday announced the signing of Ryan Hervel.

Ryan started the campaign with Premier Division side Potters Bar Town, and indeed has made twenty six Scholars appearances, with two goals. He made the step up to the Scholars from New Salamis, where he had been for eight years, a period which has seen them rise from Sunday League football to the Herts County League, up to Spartan South Midlands Division One, Spartan South Midlands Premier and finally into our ranks last season. He also captained the side more than one hundred and fifty times.

He made thirty seven appearances last season.

Prior to his time at New Salamis he played for Ware, Haringey Borough and Kettering Town, had a very short spell at AFC Sudbury, and a few months in Australia.
