Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Managers of the Month

Maidstone United’s Jay Saunders, Burgess Hill Town’s Ian Chapman and Brentwood Town’s management duo of Danny Dafter and Adam Flanagan have been unveiled as September’s Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Managers of the Month.

As well as being presented with framed certificates to mark their achievements at forthcoming fixtures, the managers can look forward to being measured up for bespoke new suits by the Surrey-based suit and menswear specialists after they were named on Monday as the second winners of this season's managerial accolades.

Nicholas Rowe Tailoring agreed a unique new sponsorship partnership last month that will see them kitting out all the divisional winners of the awards as well as the overall Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Managers of the Year.

Like the inaugural winners of the newly sponsored accolades in August, the trio will be able to choose from three colours at the long established company’s 7000 sq ft Suit-City in Redhill. There is no restriction on the number of suits managers can win but joint managers will have to win more than one award to both be kitted out with the monthly prizes restricted to one suit per winning club.

Maidstone’s Saunders earned the Ryman Premier’s laurels after guiding his side to nine wins and a single defeat in September, his team scoring an impressive 29 goals along the way with ten coming in a 10-0 FA Cup rout of Littlehampton Town in the First Qualifying Round at the Gallagher Stadium.

Chapman led his Hillians on a winning run last month in all competitions to help the league leaders go 10 points clear at the top of the Ryman South table. As well as taking maximum points from all six of their Ryman South outings, they’re looking forward to flying the flag for the Ryman League in the FA Cup’s penultimate qualifying round this weekend after knocking Croydon and then Fleet Town out of the competition with both victories coming away from home.

Dafter and Flanagan have taken Brentwood Town to fourth in Ryman North on the back of September form that saw the Blues win all six of their league outings and the draw the other. In the FA Cup they knocked London Colney out in the First Qualifying Round. Ironically, their only reverse of the month came in the FA Cup when they were outwitted by Maidstone United and September’s Ryman Premier winner Jay Saunders.
