Sesay back at Tooting

Forward Andrew Sesay makes a second Tooting debut

Forward Andrew Sesay made his second Tooting & Mitcham United debut on Saturday, entering the field in defeat at Basingstoke Town as a second half substitute.

Forward Andrew spent last season turning out for both Merstham, Hastings United and Ashford United, and this season has already featured for Whitehawk, although played only once.

He moved to Hastings from Hythe Town, where he had been for about ten minutes, making only two appearances. He moved to the Cannons from Tooting, where he signed on in the summer of last year and made eleven appearances, scoring four goals- including a hat trick in a seven-three win over Northwood.

He previously played for Whyteleafe, where he made three appearances during 20-21, and five- with three goals- during 2019-20. He also made four appearances for Bridges at the end of 20-21, scoring once, following twenty three appearances and six goals during 2019-20 and nine at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Prior to his Leafe and Bridges stints he played for Greenwich Borough and Tonbridge Angels.
