Shala Scholar...and Bello too

Wycombe keeper Laurence Shala heads on loan to Potters Bar Town, and is joined by Oreofe Bello, a striker from Dover

Potters Bar Town have announced the loan signing of Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Laurence Shala and Dover Athletic striker Oreofe Bello.

Laurence came through the Academy at West Ham United before moving up to the Under 18 side. He then moved to Selhurst Park at the start of last season, and played for the Crystal Palace Under 18 side, before heading to Wanderers in the summer. He has been part of the Kosovo Under 21 squad.

So far as we can see, this will be his first spell in Senior football.

Oreofe has spent time in our ranks before, notably making eight appearances for Carshalton Athletic at the tail end of the 21-22 campaign, scoring twice- after graduating from the Robins youth setup. He also spent time at Merstham last season, where he played fourteen times and scored once.

He moved to Dover in the summer.
