Six new Rocks

Adalberto Pinto, Charlie Morris, Ash Siddik, Jesse Olukolu, Temi Oladejo and Gael Kileba are new at East Thurrock United

East Thurrock United have had a large turnover of players of late, and there have been half a dozen new arrivals.

Adalberto Pinto spent time with Brightlingsea Regent in Pitching In isthmian premier this season. You might remember the midfielder from several previous Isthmian spells. He was with Great Wakering Rovers, where he made twenty one appearances before the 2019-20 campaign shuddered to a covid-induced halt, but he has also turned out for Bowers & Pitsea, Grays Athletic, Aveley, Thamesmead Town, Heybridge Swifts and Maldon & Tiptree.

He spent the early part of his career in Ireland, where he played for Shelbourne.

Another midfielder, Charlie Morris, made thirteen appearances- with three goals- for Tilbury this season. He has also turned out for Great Wakering Rovers, and spent some of last season at Heybridge Swifts. Romford are also amongst his former clubs.

Ash Siddik has been plying his trade in the Essex Senior League, Sporting Bengal United, Stansted and Hatch Lane amongst his former clubs, whilst Jesse Olukolu moves from Grays Athletic, where he has only stayed a few weeks. Jesse moved to Athletic from Brightlingsea Regent, who he joined from Romford in November. Jesse made thirty nine appearances for Boro, scoring four goals. He also played for Basildon United, Tilbury and Clapton at some point last season.

Temi Oladejo was also at Regent this season, the full back signing on at the Taydal in the summer. Temi has previously turned out for the likes of Dunstable Town, Herne Bay, Sittingbourne, East Grinstead Town, Potton United, Egham Town, Aylesbury FC, London Colney, Northwood, Amersham Town and Chesham United. He spent last season in the SCEFL with Fisher, making thirty seven appearances.

Gael Kileba, a midfielder, played Under 18 football for West Ham United, and went on to play for one of our former clubs, FC Romania. He moves north from Pitching In isthmian South East side Sitingbourne, where he has made ten appearances this season.
