David Smith makes his third Pitching In Isthmian Premier loan move of the season, heading to Hastings

Striker David Smith was magnificent for Folkestone Invicta last season, managing thirty five goals- form which saw him snapped up by National League Bromley in the summer. But David is now back in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier for the third time this season, having been announced as a loan signing for Hastings United- shortly after being recalled by Bromley from a spell with Margate.

David made four appearances for Gate- following the eight he played for Hornchurch earlier this season.

David signed for Invicta in the summer of 2020. He was picked up by the stripes after a scintillating season with Ashford United, twenty three goals in forty one appearances- including a four goal haul in one match at Three Bridges.

He moved to the Nuts and Bolts from Dover Athletic, where he didn't really get much of a chance to shine. He moved to the National League side after breaking through at Sittingbourne, and did spent a second spell with the Brickies on loan from Athletic. He came through the Academy at Maidstone United.

His spell with Hastings is scheduled to continue to the end of the season.
