Northwood bring in FIVE

Northwood yesterday announced five new signings, as manager Scott Dash prepares for the new season to start with the visit of Westfield on Saturday- and one of them will be facing his former employers if chosen to play.

The signing spree started with the arrival of defender Karl Stevensen, who is returning to the club after a spell with Berkhamsted. Stevensen formerly turned out for Wingate & Finchley, Hayes & Yeading United and Hanwell Town.

Next up was another defender, Luke Nugent, who arrives from Leverstock Green and has also turned out for Edgware Town, and signing number three is Andrew Tirivanhu, who last season made twenty nine appearances in the North Division for Witham Town.

Number four is the signing who may well be facing his former teammates on Saturday, as Kiye Martin arrives from Westfield. He made thirteen appearances last season, the majority from the bench.

Finally, striker Luke Holness arrives having played for Walton Casuals, Maldon & Tiptree and Tooting & Mitcham United.
