Burnham Ramblers

Ryman League newcomers Burnham Ramblers have unveiled Burwest as their new away kit sponsors.

The Ryman North-bound champions of the Essex Senior League say they are also in discussions with other commercial partners and hope to announce their home kit sponsor in the coming days.

Burwest is part of the Pigeon Group, a development company currently involved in putting together a planning application for a major development in Burnham-on-Crouch for residential housing, amenities, an industrial zone and a new stadium for Burnham Ramblers.

Ramblers manager Keith Wilson has also been busy this week re-signing many of last season's title winning squad and strengthening his backroom team with the addition coaches Lee Elliston and Adam Munn. Wilson has also retained the services of John Green as the club's sports therapist and Steven Patient as physio at Leslie Fields.

The Ramblers, who recently joined the Pitchero network of club and league websites, are urging fans to visit their new online home and register to support the club.

They are also recruiting a new press officer and say potential candidates should email the club's secretary Shaun Pugh at: secretarybrfc@sapugh.gotadsl.co.uk.
