Sponsor extends deal with leaders

By David Watters

Ryman Premier leaders Leiston are celebrating the extension of their home and away shirt sponsorship deal Screwbolt Fixings.

After enjoying a scintillating start under manager Glenn Driver, Blues fans received another big boost on Wednesday with the announcement that Screwbolt Fixing would be emblazoned across their kits until the end of the 2016-17 season.

The local business teamed up with the Blues for the start of the 2015-16 season and club officials hope the renewal of their partnership will continue to contribute to their main sponsor's growth and success locally.

Screwbolt Fixing owners Lee Barnaby and Marion Young are pictured sporting the club's away kit on the pitch at Victory Road alongside Leiston chairman Andy Crisp.

A delighted Crisp said: "We are pleased to continue our association with Lee and Marion from Screwbolt Fixing and appreciate their ongoing shirt sponsorship. On behalf of the club, I would like to thank them both and wish them continued success with their business.

"Screwbolt have become a big part of the town with their two business outlets in Leiston and we hope that their partnership with Leiston Football Club will further enhance their already good relationship with local people."
