Former Grays, Haringey and Hornchurch man new at Potters Bar Town

Potters Bar Town announced the signing of striker Chid Onokwai prior to Saturday's match at Hastings United- and gave him an immediate start.

Chid makes the move to the Lantern Stadium for Grays Athletic, where he played five times this season. He was previously playing Pitching In Southern League football for Hanwell Town and FC Romania- the latter his second spell with the Wolves.

During the 21-22 season he played for Hornchurch- four times- and Leatherhead- scoring twice in his seven matches. He joined the Tanners from Haringey Borough, playing seven times.

Previously he scored seventeen goals in seventeen games for FC Romania during the 2018-19 season, then moved on to champions Hayes and Heading United and got three more. He got fourteen in twenty three appearances for Haringey Borough during the 2019-20 season, and then moved on to St Albans City, also playing on loan for Hendon.

Earlier in his career he played for Marlow, Ware, Bowers & Pitsea and Aylesbury United.
