Striker Sam back with Seasiders

Felixstowe welcome back Sam Ford

Felixstowe and Walton United last saw striker Sam Ford when they waved him off to Scottish club Arbroath in January, but now he's back!

Sam had scored two goals in his nine appearances before being snapped up by the Lichties (that's the nickname of Arbroath, not a nasty accident), and he left the north side of the border for another trip to Australia, where he has been playing for Hume City.

We say 'another' trip to Oz because one of his previous clubs was Port Melbourne Sharks. This globetrotter has also spent time in Slovakia with FC Kosice, and in Iceland with Throttur Reykjavik. Closer to home, he came through the Academy at Ipswich Town, went on to play youth and reserve football with West Ham United, and spent time with Bishop's Stortford.
