Sunday's Ryman Premier action review

By David Watters

Kingstonian moved into eighth place in the Ryman Premier, just two points behind fifth-placed Bognor Regis Town, after a 1-0 win over Burgess Hill Town at Kingsmeadow on Sunday, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

It was crucial that K`s got something out of the game as a number of the other top five contenders failed to pick any points up on Saturday.

But for long periods of the game it looked as though they would have to be content with just one point. That change 12 minutes from time when Pelayo Pico Gomez went through and looked as though he had been brought down in the box.

With the referee waving play on, Tyron Smith blasted the ball past Hillians` keeper Josh James from 25 yards for a worthy winner.
