Super stopper looking forward to bumper crowd

Rob Tolfrey is looking forward to a big crowd turning out for his testimonial this summer after AFC Wimbledon agreed to take on Ryman Premier Kingstonian in pre-season.

K's officials said they were "delighted" on Friday to announce that the League Two Dons would kick off against a side led by their popular keeper, pictured, at Kingsmeadow on Thursday 30 July.

The former Crawley Town, Horsham and Whyteleafe stopped caught the attention of the K's while playing at the latter and joined the club in 2009 following a brief spell at the Hornets. After making his debut away to Walton Casuals on November 9 2009, Tolfrey quickly took Luke Garrard's place as the K's number one and has now amassed 277 appearances for the club.

The testimonial for Tolfrey, who has also been voted Kingstonian Supporters' Club Player of the Year three times, including the 2014-15 campaign, kicks off at 7.45pm.

Admission prices for the all-pay fixture are £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £4 for students.
