Swifts bring in former Romford keeper

Former Romford keeper Anthony Page has moved to Heybridge Swifts, and was on the bench as they defeated Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday.

Page had made three appearances for Romford this season, the last rather ironically in the five-one defeat against Swifts on November 9th. He started this season at Waltham Abbey, and has also played for Grays Athletic, Enfield Town and Brentwood Town, where he made thirty one appearances during 2017-18 and was the subject of perhaps the most widely-viewed photograph of the season, as he was consoled by a young Town supporter following a late defeat against Dulwich Hamlet.
