Nathan Smith and Harry Critchley debut for Hashtag United in eight-one victory

Everything seems to be coming up Hashtag at the moment, and during Saturday's nineteenth consecutive win United debuted two new signings, both defenders- only to see one of them weigh in with two goals.

The goalscorer, Nathan Smith, spent most of his career- almost three hundred matches- playing professionally for another bunch of former Isthmians (albeit rather a long time ago) Yeovil Town, and also featured for Chesterfield and Dagenham & Redbridge. Potters Bar Town fans may also remember him, as he had a spell as a Scholar before turning professional, and he also turned out for Dulwich Hamlet, Braintree Town, Concord Rangers and- last season- for Enfield Town, forty two appearances and five goals.

Harry Critchley was an Academy graduate at the Tags title rivals AFC Sudbury, and went on to play for their first team before heading to Coggeshall Town, and then back to the Yellows. He made fifteen appearances for the Yellows in the closing stages of last season, and this season has been an ever-present with East Thurrock United, playing thirty three times.
