Take Two as K's and Casuals do battle and help local charities

Football and charity finally come together at King George's Field- we hope!

On Saturday 21st December Kingstonian were supposed to host Corinthian-Casuals at King George's Field, with both sides combining to raise cash for their chosen charities- but as always this season the weather got in the way and the match was postponed. Assuming it goes ahead tonight- they way things have been lately it would be wrong to make any promises- there will once more be far more than three points and local bragging rights at stake, as the clubs will be resurrecting their fund raising efforts.

Each club has selected a borough-based charity: Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness (KCAH) and Kingston Carers Network (KCN). They will be holding a bucket collection, and the cash made from the 50/50 draw and the Golden Goal competition will also be added to the pot, with every penny raised split evenly between the charities.

Please give generously, and stay warm!
