Bury Town give out their awards for the season that wasn't

Bury Town have today became the latest club to announce their end of season awards after a collection of virtual voting, and the club, who were fifth in the table when the last campaign came to a crashing end, have given their four prizes to three players. Yes, you've worked it out, one player won twice! Now let's see if you can guess which one.

The Dave Longman Away Fans Player of the Season, voted for by the Town travelling faithful, was given to Ipswich Town's Ross Crane. Yes, he's now left the club to become a Tractor Boy, and we would like to wish him the very best of luck! Ross made thirty six appearances in all competitions last season, scoring two goals- including what turned out to be the winner against Grays Athletic.

The Players Player of the Season Award honours Joe Hood. Joe became Mr Reliable at Ram Meadow last season, making more appearances that anyone else- thirty seven. He started life with Peterborough United, but don't hold that against him, as he has also turned out for Mildenhall Town, St Ives Town and St Neots, from whom he moved to Ram Meadow last summer.

Managers Player of the Season and Supporters Player of the Season went to Ollie Hughes, which will surprise absolutely nobody. Striker Ollie is so beloved at Ram Meadow that as long as he doesn't start stealing sweets from old ladies whilst wearing a coat fashioned one hundred and one Dalmatians he'll probably win something every year. After all, he's won the supporters award every season since he arrived at the club.
