Toner to the Arena

Brentwood Town have announced the signing of Grays Athletic defender/midfielder Michael Toner.

The player ended last season at Parkside, after spending 2017-18 at Hertford Town, making forty appearances and scoring ten goals. During the previous season he turned out for both Heybridge Swifts and Aveley, and he has also played for Chelmsford City, Harlow Town, Ware and Tilbury.

Speaking to the Town social media team, manager Ryan O'Rawe stated:

“I am delighted to finally get this one over the line. He had a long list of clubs after him and he wanted to take his time to see whether Brentwood Town and the new management team was going to be right for him.

His experience is going to be invaluable as he is a leader and has played hundreds of games at these levels.”
