Towners bring in a Christmas Eve midfielder

Lyle Della-Verde heads to the QEII Stadium

Enfield Town yesterday announced the signing of Hayes & Yeading United midfielder Lyle Della-Verde.

The Leeds-born player went through his youth career at Spurs, Southend United and Fulham, before signing a first professional deal at Craven Cottage. He later played for Bristol Rovers, Fleetwood Town and Crawley Town in the Football League, before dropping down to sign for Welling United, Concord Rangers, Dartford and Braintree Town.

Last season he played twice for Kingstonian, and eight times for Haringey Borough- rather ironically scoring his only two goals for the club against the K's. He has been with Hayes & Yeading United during this campaign, playing fifteen times in the BetVictor Southern South Premier.
