Enfield Town ask for toy donations for vulnerable children

Following our story about charity initiatives at Carshalton Athletic and Romford yesterday, we've been advised of a third club looking to help their local community this Christmas. Enfield Town have joined forces with Zebras Children and Adults Charity to support some of the most vulnerable children within the London Borough of Enfield.

Zebras support families living with disabilities and dealing with poverty, and are appealing for new toys to allow these families to give their children a magical Christmas. The toys must be new as many of the children have life limiting conditions and therefore can not risk any cross infection.

They would be grateful if supporters could choose from the following list:

  • Action figures - Spider-man, Captain America,
  • Toy Cars
  • Remote control toys
  • Cause and effect toys
  • Sensory toys with music and lights
  • Arts and crafts
  • Educational books
  • Puzzles, and threading toys

Toys can be delivered to the club shop at Enfield Town at every home match up to and including the match against Bowers and Pitsea on December 7th. That means that supporters can donate against Maldon & Tiptree tomorrow, against Carshalton Athletic on Tuesday, against Wingate & Finchley on Saturday 30th, and of course against Bowers on December 7th.
