Transfer Deadline Day: Sheppey United

Everything went right for Sheppey United on Saturday as they hammered promotion-rivals Beckenham Town five-one- and the icing on that particular cake was a goalscoring debut for Gillingham loanee Matty Macarthur, who added the fifth goal just before the end.

Macarthur is not new to the Pitching In Isthmian League, as he had a loan spell at Premier Division side Margate which only ended last week when he was recalled by his parent club. He made fourteen appearances for the Blues, scoring in a draw against Brightlingsea Regent.
