Tuesday's Ryman North action review

By David Watters

Just two matches were played in Ryman North on Tuesday night but both had significance at the bottom end of the table, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Wroxham moved out of the bottom three after a 3-1 win at Haringey Borough and were replaced by Waltham Abbey, who lost 2-1 at home to mid-table Maldon & Tiptree.

Haringey started the evening eight points clear of the Yachtsmen but ended it only five points in front after a first half blitz saw Michael Sommerfield after 11 minutes and a brace for Jamie Forshaw after 26 and 44 minutes, put Wroxham 3-0 up.

Ross Dedman `won` the second half for Boro with a 63rd minute reply, but the Yachtsmen held firm for three crucial points.
