Tuesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

Worthing moved into third place in the Ryman South table on Tuesday night after a comfortable 3-0 win at Woodside Road against fourth-placed Corinthian-Casuals, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Omar Bugiel broke the deadlock to give the hosts the lead right on half-time. And then 14 minutes from time, Bugiel`s second virtually confirmed Worthing`s victory, although Lloyd Dawes made sure with a third four minutes from time.

Faversham Town are now sixth, just a point behind Casuals, after a Stuart King hat-trick helped them to a 4-1 drubbing of Hastings United at the Pilot Field.

But the hosts led, thanks to a 22nd minute Tyrell Richardson-Brown effort, until King equalised a minute before the break. King`s second arrived just three minutes after the restart and he completed his hat-trick four minutes from the end after Jamie Maxted had made it 3-1 in the 51st minute.

Tuesday`s other game saw Carshalton Athletic edge out hosts East Grinstead Town by the odd goal in five.

Callum Emptage gave the hosts the lead four minutes before half-time but just two minutes after the break Dan Summers pulled the Robins back on level terms. Greg Cundle then restored East Grinstead's lead on 67 minutes before two last-gasp Tommy Bradford efforts sealed Carshalton's win.
