Tuesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

The four matches in Ryman South on Tuesday night produced a healthy 19 goals between them, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

Dorking Wanderers moved into third spot after beating fourth-bottom Walton & Hersham 3-0 at the Westhumble Community Ground.

Luke Hackett opened the scoring after 27 minutes and a minute before the break, Tom Tolfrey added a second. Tolfrey confirmed victory with his second and the home side`s third four minutes from time.

Hastings United missed the opportunity to put pressure on the top five when they were held to a 3-3 draw at the Pilot Field by Corinthian-Casuals.

And it was goalless at half-time but just three minutes after the restart Niall Wright gave the visitors the lead. Josh Uzun doubled Casuals` lead from the spot six minutes later, only for Zac Attwood to reduce the arrears four minutes after that.

Sam Cole`s spot-kick pulled Hastings back on level terms with 76 minutes gone. Brandon Johnson then looked to have won it for Casuals five minutes from time, only for Simon Johnson to rescue a point for the hosts in the 88th minute.

South Park moved up to ninth spot after a comprehensive 4-1 win at the Jubilee Field against Three Bridges.

Well-travelled striker Allan Tait gave Bridges a great start with a goal inside the opening four minutes. Karl Parker equalised on the half-hour and then 23 minutes after the break, Jack Macleod put the visitors in front.

Kieran Lavery from the spot after 53 minutes and then James McElligott five minutes from time wrapped up South Park`s win.

Sittingbourne pulled themselves nine points clear of the drop zone after edging out mid-table Whyteleafe by the odd goal in five at Woodstock Park.

Hicham Akhazzan put Bourne ahead after 22 minutes and Dan Hughes doubled their advantage two minutes before the break. Three minutes after the interval Stephen Ita added the home side`s third but Ryan Fowler after 67 minutes and Sam Clayton`s penalty five minutes later made the home fans sweat.
