Tuesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

The only game in Ryman South on Tuesday night – with the match between East Grinstead Town and Hastings United postponed – saw Hythe Town slip into the top five, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Kent outfit beat second-bottom Peacehaven & Telscombe 2-0 at Piddinghoe Avenue.

Frankie Sawyer gave the visitors an 11th minute lead that Jack Harris added to 17 minutes later. Sawyer`s second on 69 minutes sealed a comfortable win for Hythe.

The result leaves Haven six points adrift of the safety-mark.
