Grays Athletic have begun strengthening for a prospective promotion push next season by bringing in defender Courtney Homans and midfielder Kieron Jones.

You might recognise Kieron, as he comes in from Barking. Kieron made forty seven appearances last season- more than anyone else at his club- and also weighed in with eight goals- including once against his new club in a five-two Athletic win back in March. Read more here.

Courtney, a right back, spent last season winning promotion with walthamstow. He has previously played for a number of our clubs, including Hullbridge Sports, Leatherhead and Hornchurch (when they still had an AFC), and has also turned out for Redbridge, Stansted, Woodford Town- and was a youth at West Ham Utd.
