Two more for the Blues

By Ian Townsend

Aron Pollock and Malachi Napa join Billericay Town

New Billericay Town boss Gary McCann hasn't been slow out of the blocks, and has already taken his number of new signings up to six. The latest two both join the Blues from a higher level.

Aron Pollock, a defender, started his career as a youth with Leyton Orient, during which he had his first Isthmian experience on loan to Wingate & Finchley. He went on to have a loan spell at Leatherhead before joining the Tanners permanently under Sammy Moore. He was then to join Moore once more at Concord Rangers, eventually became captain, and was part of the side which reached the FA Trophy Final in 2021.

Malachi Napa, a midfielder, played youth football with Reading and Oxford United before breaking through to the United first team. Loan spells at North Leigh, Hampton & Richmond Borough, Macclesfield Town and Woking followed, and after spending some time permanently with the Cards he came our way, signing on at Maldon & Tiptree. He made fifteen Jammers appearances and weighed in with five goals before stepping up to join Wealdstone, since when he has had loan time at Dartford.
