Two Tractor Boys new at Wanderers

By Ian Townsend

Paul Moodie and Jesse Ayoola head from Ipswich Town to Ipswich Wanderers

Ipswich Wanderers added two new names to their squad prior to Saturday's match against Felixstowe and Walton United, with the arrival of loan signings Paul Moodie and Jesse Ayoola, who make the short journey from Ipswich Town.

Paul, a midfielder who has also been known to play in defence, was actually in the Wanderers first team as they travelled to Walthamstow on December 16th, and he made an immediate impact, scoring in that narrow defeat. He was captain of the Town Under 18 side which won the Northern Ireland SuperCup in the summer of 2022, a tournament which saw them defeat San Francisco Glens SC, Club Puebla and County Antrim.

Jesse is a defender, most comfortable at centre back, and he first signed on with the Tractor Boys in the summer of 2022.

Both players have been part of the Under 21 squad at Portman Road.
