Two young Bostik Premier stars move on up!

Brightlingsea Regent and Worthing wingers climb the pyramid

It was announced yesterday that two of our Bostik Premier Division players have signed for professional clubs- one heading to the Championship whilst the other heads for the top of the National League.

Brightlingsea Regent confirmed that winger Rob Harvey has become a Lion, moving to Millwall following a successful trial earlier this summer. He also had a trial at The Den last year, which was curtailed by injury, but this time Lions manager Neil Harris and Under 23's boss Kevin Nugent were entirely convinced by what they had seen. Regent will receive an undisclosed fee, and Taydal manager Tom Rothery is delighted- as you can read at the club website, here.

The second player on the move is Worthing winger Reece Meekums, whose form for the Mackerel Men last season made many higher level clubs sit up and take notice. Reece joins another former Worthing star, Omar Bugiel, at Hayes Lane- home of Bromley and Cray Wanderers- and both will be hoping that they can fire their club to do just a little better than last season, when they were runners-up in the FA Trophy and missed out on the playoffs by three points. More news on that signing via the Bromley website, here.
