Hampton man heads to Hornchurch

Hornchurch have confirmed the signing of Hampton and Richmond Borough striker Chris Dickson, who is also a full international with Ghana.

Isthmian League followers with long memories might remember Chris turning out for Dulwich Hamlet twelve years ago, a prolific spell which saw him earn a move to Charlton Athletic. During his time at the Valley he also had loan spells at Gillingham, Crewe Alexandra and Bristol Rovers.

He was next found in Cyprus, where he helped AEL Limassol win the Cypriot League for the first time in their history, and also found the net in a Europa League victory over Marseille. He then spent some time in China before returning to England and Dagenham and Redbridge.

Chris joined the Beavers last season after finding the net regularly for Chelmsford City during the previous campaign. He appeared twice for Ghana, including in a draw with Tanzania in August 2008.
