Wands keeper becomes a Rover

Nathan Boamah makes the move to Sutton

Sutton Common Rovers have announced the signing of Cray Wanderers keeper Nathan Boamah.

Nathan came through the Under 18 setup at Wands, only to be thrust into the first team at the end of last season after the club suffered a keeper crisis. He received rave reviews, making a man of the match debut against promotion chasing Enfield Town in a three-three draw before making more critical saves as Wands effectively preserved their Premier Division status in a four-one hammering of East Thurrock United. He was also in goal as they fell three-one to Bishop's Stortford in the last game of the season, and again reports suggest he delivered an excellent performance.

As well as his time with Wands, he also spent some time on loan at Kent Football United in the SCEFL, and has recently had a trial with Wycombe Wanderers.
