Ware have Hope!

By Ian Townsend

Wodson Park welcomes former Enfield Town and Jammers striker

Ware ended last season only seven points off a playoff place, and were the third highest scorers in the South Central Division, scoring ninety league goals- only Hayes & Yeading United and Bracknell Town were more prolific in front of goal. Perhaps they'll do even better in the forthcoming campaign, however, as yesterday they announced the capture of former Enfield Town and Maldon & Tiptree forward Liam Hope.

Hope was wearing the number nine shirt as the Jammers fell at the last hurdle on May 5th, losing in the North Division Playoff Final on penalties to Heybridge Swifts. He moved to Essex in February after leaving the club where he was the record goalscorer. He also turned out for Cheshunt in 2016-17.
