Wednesday's Ryman South action review

By David Watters

The only game in the Ryman South on Wednesday night saw Ramsgate recover from last Saturday`s defeat at Walton & Hersham to win 3-1 at South Park and move into third place in the table, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The Rams went into the game on the back of a win-less run of five games and when Nathan Ayling gave South Park, who started the evening above the visitors in sixth, an early fifth minute lead, things looked ominous for the Kent outfit.

But leading scorer Joe Taylor equalised after 26 minutes and just six minutes later Nick Treadwell put the Rams ahead. And substitute Kane Rowland ensured there was to be no comeback by the hosts when he made it 3-1 in the 72nd minute.
