East Grinstead Town fans didn't have much to shout about as they fell to defeat against Ashford United on Tuesday night, but they did have a new man in the number two shirt to take a look at for the first time.
Sam Remfry came through the junior and youth ranks at South Park, before graduating to the first team, making twenty four appearances for the Sparks during the 2019-20 season, scoring twice, twenty two in 2018-19 and five in 2017-18, when he scored on his home debut against Ramsgate.
He then moved up two levels, signing for Concord Rangers in the National League South, and spent some loan time at Tilbury.
This season he's been with Haywards Heath Town, and indeed has played thirty two times in blue and white, scoring six goals. He was on the bench as Heath defeated Faversham Town last weekend.
