Hendon set for Harrow move

By Peter Butcher

RYMAN Premier club Hendon will be ground-sharing with divisional rivals Harrow Borough from next season.

Homeless since losing their fampus Claremont Road ground in 2008, Hendon have spent the last four years sharing with Combined Counties League side Wembley at their Vale Farm base (as pictured above).

Now Harrow Borough have announced a three-year deal to host Hendon's matches at Earlsmead Stadium from the start of next season.

Harrow Chairman Peter Rogers said of the agreement: "Harrow Borough Football Club are delighted to be able to assist our good friends at Hendon Football Club.

"We have been friends and rivals, on an off the pitch, for almost 40 years and we look forward to them joining us at Earlsmead for the seasons to come.”
