No more Grays days for Stuart

Grays Athletic have announced the departure of their manager, Jamie Stuart, by mutual consent.

Stuart, a former Millwall and Charlton Athletic defender, was a big part of the Grays Athletic side that won the Conference South title and experienced two FA Trophy triumphs in the previous decade, and took over as manager during a period of turmoil in 2016, bringing stability after Grays had lost ten matches in a row and seen much of their squad depart.

They currently sit in tenth place in the Bostik North Division, and on Saturday drew with Tilbury.
