Riza returns to set the record straight

Ryman Round-up Show

Former Cheshunt manager Omer Riza has a chance to set the record straight on his departure from the Ambers on Thursday night’s Ryman Round-up Show.

The 34-year-old former Arsenal striker, pictured, took the helm at Theobalds Lane last October and left after a poor start to campaign that saw the Ambers collect just five points from their first six outings.

He’s since been replaced at the Ryman North club by Glen Alzapiedi and will be joined on the latest edition of the popular phone-in for fans, players and officials of the Isthmian League by Waltham abbey manager Paul Wickenden.

Launched at the start of last season by Harlow-based online community station Hawks Radio, the Ryman Round-up Show is hosted by David Square and broadcasts from 7pm to 9.30pm every week to debate the latest league news and action from the Isthmian League's three divisions and 72 clubs.

Like all of last season's shows, every episode is also podcasted for anyone who can't tune in live. To listen to last Thursday night’s show and hear Hampton & Richmond Borough chairman Steve McPherson explain his decision to give former Kingstonian manager Alan Dowson the chance to revive the Ryman Premier club’s fortunes, visit: Ryman Round-up Show 18.09.14

To listen to the show live visit: www.hawksradio.co.uk and to air your views on the phone-in call 01279 899150. Alternatively, email your comments direct to the studio at: ryman@hawksradio.co.uk.
