The defender-cum-midfielder, pictured, was in line to make his Invicta debut at Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday after his arrival from the National League club and 2015 Ryman Premier champions.
Invicta manager Neil Cugley has been short of defensive midfielders since the retirement of club stalwart Micheal Everitt in April and Davies, who has had loan spells at Eastleigh, Bromley and Dover Athletic, can operate in central defence, at full-back or as a central midfielder.
If he does play, the 23-year-old could turn out in midfield alongside another ex-Maidstone player, Phil Starkey. He joined Invicta just over 12 months ago and was a key figure in last year’s promotion-winning side, earning Invicta's Players’ Player of the Year award.

Cugley said: “With a couple [of players] out through injury, and young Euan Sahadow away on tour with his school, we’re a little bit short on numbers at this moment and I’m delighted to have signed Callum. He’s a very useful player and I’m sure he’ll do well with us and fit in well with the rest of the lads.”
