Rocks man James Crane prepares to play his five hundredth match for the club

Bognor Regis Town's welcome Haywards Heath Town in the Sussex Senior Cup tonight, and it's expected to be a milestone for Rocks defender James Crane.

After fourteen years with the club, James is due to make his five hundredth Rocks appearance- if, of course, he is selected! He has given an interview to the club website to mark the occasion, and you can read it here.

Those five hundred matches include many highlights, amongst them Play Off Final victory against Dulwich Hamlet on 1st May 2017 (one of two promotions)- and perhaps two goals from full back in a seven-one win over Folkestone Invicta during that campaign; and, of course the run to the FA Trophy Semi-Finals the previous season, which included the winning goal against National League Premier side Altrincham with five minutes to go in the Second Round.

Many congratulations James, and we hope you have an enjoyable night whatever the outcome.
