A Canary turns Lilywhite- and Parsons returns

Two arrivals for Faversham Town

Faversham Town yesterday announced the loan signing of Norwich City Academy goalkeeper David Aziaya, and gave him a baptism of fire in a five-nil defeat against Folkestone Invicta, during which he played for the first half.

David joined the Norwich Academy in the summer of last year and has played Under 18 and Under 21 football for the Canaries, as well as spending some time playing for the Under 18 side at Barnsley.

The club also announced the return of full back Matt Parsons. Matt came through the ranks at Crystal Palace and also played professionally at Barnet, Wycombe Wanderers and Plymouth Argyle. He has spent most of the last few years in Kent, turning our for both of our Cray sides, Chatham Town, Glebe, the Lilywhites and Sheppey United, and away from the Garden of England also spent time with Romford and Corinthian-Casuals.
